To anyone trying to decide whether or not to incorporate a designer into their renovation project, I resoundingly recommend Mary be considered for the design work! When my husband and I finally decided it was time to update our kitchen and master bath, we really had no idea what we were getting into. 309Design was able to move us from concept to project completion in a thoughtful and efficient manner, actually making the projects exciting and fun. During the re-design, Mary Young sketched our thoughts, translated those sketches into design renderings and drawings (understandable by contractors), put the projects out to bid, and assisted us during the construction phase, becoming intimately involved as we had questions or concerns. Mary also assisted us in decorating the other rooms of our house by providing paint color choices, furniture and rug choices, and by completing the rooms with moderately-priced wall hangings and "extras". Mary listened extremely well to our ideas and she was able to convert our thoughts into finished products. We were delighted with the selections that Mary presented and often would have been contented with any one of them. When we were divided in our choices, Mary would provide us with her thoughts and we were always able to make a wise decision. We obtained an extremely creative finished product that we would not have developed on our own. We highly recommend Mary Young not only for her extraordinary design skills but also for her people skills.
